C.A.R.E. has announced that its 68th Conference, to be held at The Westin Sarasota, Sarasota, Florida, will now take place from August 21-August 24, 2021.
After careful consideration, and upon review of a C.A.R.E. 2021 Membership Survey provided by INTUITION Brand Marketing, the C.A.R.E. Board of Directors deemed it prudent to reschedule the conference from its original May dates. The survey indicated that an overwhelming majority of C.A.R.E. members were more likely to attend the conference should the conference be held at the later August dates. C.A.R.E. President Linda Mayhugh further shared that, “The association felt the change in dates was in the best interest of our members and industry colleagues to maximize conference attendance. It is our hope, that by postponing the conference another three months, we can increase our potential attendance by 30%.”
Previously announced conference keynotes speakers, Eric Papp, Founder of Agape Leadership, LLC, and Iron Tamer, Dave Whitley, were also retained for the adjusted dates. Papp will deliver his keynote address ‘Taking Bold Action in Uncertain Times’ on Sunday, August 22nd and Whitley will present his keynote ‘SuperHuman Success Strategies- How to Discover and Develop Your Own SuperHuman Powers ‘on Monday, August 23rd.
Conference attendees will benefit from reduced C.A.R.E. room block rates and are encouraged to reserve accommodations early. Conference sponsors, many of whom originally committed for 2020 conference sponsorships, continue to benefit from an additional year of promotion. Conference registration will open in April 2021.
C.A.R.E.’s extended, and robust conference agenda will be full of valuable content and networking opportunities and will serve as a welcome homecoming for C.A.R.E. members and industry professionals that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Because C.A.R.E. will also hold its 35th Anniversary Celebration, originally scheduled to be held in 2020, in Sarasota, this event is sure to be a successful highlight to 2021 business plans for Resort Developers, Management and Exchange Companies, HOA’s, Travel Clubs, Wholesalers, and Industry Suppliers.
Established in 1985, (C.A.R.E.), the Cooperative Association of Resort Exchangers, is one of the industry’s leading associations in ethical standards and value propositions. Its internationally diverse member base includes Resort Developers, Management and Exchange Companies, HOA’s, Travel Clubs and Wholesalers as well as many respected industry suppliers bringing value-added revenue enhancement opportunities. Members that possess rentable inventory or seek inventory for fulfillment of rental requests set the foundation of C.A.R.E. with a multitude of scenarios for securing client vacations, increased inventory utilization and heightened yield management. C.A.R.E. members can share inventory via week-to-week exchanges, weekly wholesale rentals, guaranteed and free-sale blocks as well as year-round and seasonal leases all over the world. C.A.R.E. members must comply with a strict Code of Standards and Ethics and will undoubtedly gain professional and personal development by attending C.A.R.E. Conferences. With nominal annual membership fees and some of the industry’s lowest conference registration rates, C.A.R.E. can prove an undeniable value and return.
