Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), announced the affiliation of Terra & Mar Privilege, a new vacation club in eastern Brazil. The club’s units are housed in the Pousada Terra & Mar hotel located on the southern coast of Bahia, near the spectacular beaches on the Maraú Peninsula.
“After being involved in the hospitality industry in Bahia for nearly 15 years and studying shared ownership, we made the decision to add a timeshare component to complement our boutique property. We are confident that this will help leverage existing amenities and generate a more stable year-round occupancy,” said Rogerio Montes, developer of Terra & Mar Privilege. “The support of Interval’s experienced team has been very valuable and its innovative technology is proving to be integral to our sales process.”

Surrounded by lush vegetation, Pousada Terra & Mar is close to the center of Barra Grande, a town that has retained the peaceful ambiance of an old fishing village. Onsite amenities include a swimming pool, restaurant, game room, and access to Wi-Fi.
Situated between the Atlantic Ocean and one of Brazil’s largest bays, Maraú Peninsula is an idyllic vacation destination that offers many natural attractions, including miles of pristine beaches, rainforests, waterfalls, coral reefs, and varied marine wildlife.
New purchasers at Terra & Mar Privilege will be enrolled as members of Interval International, entitling them to a host of year-round benefits, including the opportunity to exchange their weeks for stays at other resorts in Interval’s global network.
