Tom Durkee and Lena Combs
Tom Durkee and Lena Combs, partners at WithumSmith+Brown, PC (Withum), recently shared their thoughts about the timeshare industry and what it takes to provide the best accounting services. (The two CPAs announced that their firm, Averett Warmus Durkee CPAs, [AWD] joined with Withum the first of this year.)
During the interview with Resort Trades Publisher Sharon Scott, Durkee and Combs shared several views and observations they had gained from working with timeshare resort operators and HOAs over the years. The entire article can be viewed online at http://sharonink.com/spot/withum-interview.
“What most impresses me about Lena and Tom is their dedication and commitment to their fellow team members, their clients and to the industry,” says Scott. “As they explained to me what a resort professional should look for in a product or service provider, it was clear to me that a personal, caring attitude is a value-added feature that is sometimes all too rare in the business world.”
The two principals discussed the combination of AWD with Withum and how they look to enjoy the synchronicity between members of the previous firm and their new, larger group.
