Vacation Ownership Company Changing the Business Through Innovation

The timeshare professionals’ monthly go-to magazine – Resort Trades – and the Resort Trades Weekly eMagazine are proud to present a free, online event, “The Business of Innovation with Bryan Rand,” on May 13, 2021, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Bryan Rand is President of Vacation Innovations (VI), one of the world’s leading providers of travel-related products, software, and services, specializing in secondary-market services and solutions for the vacation ownership industry. He officially joined VI in 2020 but has been involved with the company as an advisor and investor for more than half a decade and was instrumental in leading the company’s acquisition of Holiday Systems International last year.

“I’m looking forward to interviewing Bryan,” says Resort Trades Publisher Sharon Scott Wilson, RRP. “Vacation Innovations promises to be a major force in the industry as they offer unique answers to virtually any challenge a resort faces, including resales, rental management, title services, as well as airline and travel fulfillment. It looks like they’d be a terrific partner for major developers, management companies, and independent resort companies.”

In his role as President, Bryan is responsible for driving the organization’s operating strategy and building, managing, and growing partnerships with developers, technology providers and other strategic interests. In addition to his work on the operating strategy, Bryan leads the organization’s active and aggressive mergers and acquisitions strategy and manages all relationships with capital providers.

“I’m proud to be part of everything we’re accomplishing at Vacation Innovations, especially as this industry moves into recovery following the pandemic,” says Bryan. “Our organization continues to grow, and I’m looking forward to speaking with Sharon about who we are and what we can offer to not only the timeshare market, but the broader travel segment as well.”

In addition to his role with VI, Bryan is also a Senior Director at Tritium Partners, a private equity firm with nearly $1 billion in assets under management and a minority investor in Vacation Innovations. Tritium Partners is also an investor in other leading marketplaces including RVshare, Chairish, Jane, and many others. With Tritium, Bryan is responsible for sourcing and executing acquisitions as well as managing relationships with deal referral sources. Prior to joining Tritium, Bryan spent more than 15 years in investment banking and private equity, where he completed more than 40 M&A and financing transactions with privately-held businesses across numerous industries.

Bryan also serves on multiple private company and non-profit boards and is a member of the Southern 7 Chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). He received his MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Credit Suisse Fellow and graduated magna cum laude from Morehouse College with a B.A. in German Studies and a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
