The Orlando Business Journal Names Sonya Dixon A Business Executive Of The Year

Orange Lake Resorts, home to the Holiday Inn Club Vacations® brand, is proud to announce that Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Sonya Dixon was recently named as a 2017 Business Executive of the Year at the Orlando Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Awards dinner. Dixon leads the finance and shared services teams for Orange Lake Resorts, which has gross revenues of $706 million a year, 26 resorts in 13 states, and more than 4,500 employees. This year she was also inducted into the University of Central Florida Business Hall of Fame and is consistently recognized for her service and dedication to UCF’s Accounting program and its students.

Dixon joined Orange Lake Resorts in 2013. Prior to her current position, she was employed by Grant Thornton as an audit partner in Orlando. She has nearly 21 years of timeshare industry experience. Sonya is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Central Florida.
