From now until December 30th adults and children will discover holiday traditions from around the world from 11 Showcase Nations and enjoy seasonal food and beverage specialties, lively performances, and stunning music and laser shows. Epcot guests can indulge in dedicated menus that highlight the many flavors of the holiday season including hearty dishes like Sauerbraten, Red Cabbage, and Spätzle from the Bavarian Kitchen in the Germany Pavilion, Queso Fresco-Stuffed Arepa Topped with Shrimp, Crushed Avocado Aji and Tomato Sauce in tribute of the Caribbean holiday El Día De Los Reyes Magos (Three Kings Day), and new for 2018 the L’Chaim Holiday Kitchen that brings soul-warming Jewish fare like Matzo Ball Soup and a Hanukkah staple, potato knish to the extensive global menu.
Once guests are full, they can enjoy the Candlelight Processional. Each night, a celebrity narrator tells the biblical tale of Christmas and is accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and a large choir. Celebrity narrators for 2018 include Neil Patrick Harris, Whoopi Goldberg, Blair Underwood, and many more. In addition to the food and performances, young (and young at heart) guests can go on a scavenger to help Chip & Dale collect ornaments for their Christmas tree.
