SPI Software’s ‘Owner-Connect’ Portal Offers New Advanced Capabilities

Timeshare software developer, SPI Software, announced their Owner-Connect web application has been enhanced with new capability that includes support for Shift4’s i4Go web-based secure payment processing, VacationGuard’s travel protection offering, and the Microsoft Azure Cloud.

Owner-Connect is SPI Software’s ready-to-deploy website for resorts and HOAs to directly connect to timeshare owners anytime, anywhere and from any device type. The module is an extension of SPI’s resort management system, SPI Orange, to provide a suite of transaction-based applications and communications to timeshare owners.

Owner-Connect is designed to accelerate the processing of annual maintenance fee payments, review and make mortgage payments, accept advance deposits, research availability, book owner usage and non-usage reservations, deliver documents, facilitate secure credit card payment processing and more. The latest Owner-Connect enhancements include:

• Shift4 i4Go® provides security and protection for web-based e-Commerce environments. With i4Go technology SPI Software’s clients can be confident that they are using a secure service that will simplify PCI compliance while protecting their customers’ sensitive information as well as their own company brand.
• VacationGuard® provides Owner-Connect with the capability to market travel-protection services at the time timeshare owners make reservations and maintenance payments. The VacationGuard® service provides an array of travel insurance services including trip cancellation and interruption, medical expenses for injury and sickness, lost, stolen, or delayed baggage, and more.
• Microsoft Azure Cloud capability provides SPI Owner-Connect clients with the option to host the web application on Microsoft’s global cloud environment. Azure offers performance, consistency and across the global data platform. The SPI development team has successfully tested and now certifies Owner-Connect for operation on the Azure could platform.
