SPI Software Enhances Revenue Opportunities with Cloud-based Applications

Today, SPI Software has announced that, through integrated cloud-based technology, SPI’s enterprise class Orange Vacation Ownership System now presents new revenue enhancing and management capability for timeshare owners and managers to sell, monitor and manage their properties. Specifically, SPI has extended its timeshare software system offering with off-premise contact (OPC) and Dashboard applications that are based on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform to provide functionality anywhere, and in real-time.

SPI Software’s cloud-based application called “OPC-Connect” provides off-premise sales personnel and other tour vendors the ability to remotely book tours through mobile devices like tablets and phones. Wherever OPCs are physically located, they can securely connect via commonly available mobile devices to book vacations ownership property tours. The application will operate equally as well and automatically scale for desktop and Wi-Fi connections or when outside to the Resort’s Wi-Fi range from a cell phone data connection.

“When a resort’s revenue potential can be enhanced with cloud-based applications,” says George Stemper, SPI CEO. “We are keen to add that to our product portfolio. SPI is all-in as it relates to providing the industry with meaningful software tools and applications on an ongoing basis. These new capabilities are powerful as they add real value for our clients.”

In addition to OPC-Connect, the SPI Orange Timeshare Software System now offers timeshare resort owners and managers a remote reporting module named “Dashboard-Connect”. This capability provides a powerful business dashboard reporting package allowing property stakeholders to keep pace with key performance indicators of their business in real-time, anytime, anywhere and with any type device.
