Resort Travel & Xchange Highlights Fall Conference Harvest

Resort Travel & Xchange, an international timeshare exchange leader, continued to achieve heightened visibility and strategic partnerships at key industry-related events this past fall. As attendants and sponsors, RTX actively supported industry growth and engagement at conferences across North America.

Based in Asheville, North Carolina, RTX has quickly gained traction in the timeshare industry since its establishment in 2012. The ambitious growth has led to a strong portfolio and 80,000 members. RTX members enjoy low exchange fees, a long deposit life, and attractive rates for cruise exchanges. Resort, developer and HOA partners benefit from RTX’s high-value services too. These include assistance with delinquent and unsold inventory, a rental platform, reservations services, and well-priced and personalized owner services.

“It was a very busy fall conference season for RTX. We were able to enhance existing affiliations with industry partners while making lots of valuable new connections within the industry and with potential new members. It’s always beneficial for us as a company to participate in and contribute to events and conferences held by our industry peers and partners,” said Corina Violette, director of resort partnerships for RTX.

Resort Travel & Xchange kicked off the season in Niagara Falls at the Canadian Resort Development Association’s (CRDA) annual Canadian Resort Conference in September. Justin Hunter, the Vice President of Operations at RTX, currently holds a seat on the CRDA’s Board of Directors, which recognizes the company for high ethical standards. RTX sponsored the digital and on-site photo delegates list at the networking event to assist in promoting business partnerships on a regional and international level.

RTX attended two conferences for the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) in September and again in November. In South Carolina, RTX sponsored the Southeast Conference’s Registration and Welcome Refreshments as well as the Networking Break. RTX additionally attended the annual ARDA Fall Conference as a contributing sponsor in Washington, D.C. The exchange company hosted the Chairman’s League Breakfast where attendees could hear from The Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report founder and editor, Stuart Rothenberg.

In further support of ARDA, Violette serves on several committees including the AIF Education Committee, the LEAPS Alumni Association Task Force, and the ARDA Member Experience Committee.

Returning as a sponsor for the October conference, RTX attended the Timeshare Board Members Association’s networking opportunity in Tucson, Arizona. Resort Travel & Xchange’s growth mentality used the platform to focus on current timeshare Homeowners Association and onsite resort management trends.

Later in the month, RTX participated in the C.A.R.E (Cooperative Association of Resort Exchangers) Fall Conference as a Sapphire-level sponsor and contributed to the Grand Evening of Recognition, Relaxation, and Networking. The event captured the attention of resort developers, management and exchange companies, HOA’s, travel clubs and wholesalers. Violette also serves as Vice President for C.A.R.E.

In Sarasota, Florida, Violette presented in front of a number of timeshare owners for the second year in a row at the Florida Timeshare Ownership Group. Resort Travel & Xchange addressed attendees’ questions and provided insights on the industry’s interests and concerns in November.

RTX offers its members an industry leading vacation exchange platform that provides a variety of benefits and travel options such as low exchange fees, up to a four-year deposit window, reservation protection, and discounts on different travel options such as hotels, car rentals, air travel, restaurants and more. Additionally, the company also provides its partner resorts and management companies with customizable options and solutions, based on their needs and the needs of their customers.
