Resort TradesTalk Podcast
Resort Trades is launching a weekly podcast directed toward career-minded individuals in the resort industry. The series begins this summer with content that includes topics such as:
According to Resort Trades Media Group Publisher Sharon Scott Wilson, RRP, “We’ve been posting videos since 2020 and have watched our YouTube channel grow with very little promotion. These days, people are far more likely to engage when they can see and hear you—not just read about you. Video builds a level of trust that print alone simply can’t. That’s really the thinking behind what we’re doing with the Resort TradesTalk Podcast.”
The Resort Trades’ Learning Center channel has a loyal 250-plus subscriber list, which most likely represents only a fraction of its total loyal viewers. These are career-minded professionals in the timeshare resort business and they range from C-suite and mid-level executives, to those looking to start a career in the resort industry.
They are people who are paying attention. And in today’s environment, where ARDA no longer has an exhibit floor or large attendance at its annual conference, the reality is professionals involved in the resort industry are thirsty for information.

Sponsor an Interview — reaching even one of the right decision-makers can translate into millions of dollars and a long-term relationship. Contact Marla@thetrades.com; 931-200-1681.
What You Get: Think of how you can begin a conversation. You can share what you’re seeing, what’s working, and your creative ideas about the business. Or tell an engaging story. We’ll help you work on engaging content. And we don’t just leave it as a video. With the full program, that conversation carries across our platforms—
Greater visibility than exhibit booths used to create. Heightened opportunity to connect with individuals. Compared to attendance at or sponsorship of an industry event, the value proposition becomes pretty clear.
If it makes sense, we’d enjoy having a quick conversation with you about how this might fit what you’re doing this year. Send an email to Sharon@TheTrades.com or contact Marla Carroll at Marla@TheTrades.com or call her at 931-200-1681.
Thanks for your time! –Sharon
