International Shared Ownership Investment Conference
Miami, FL, November 12, 2018 – Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services, added to its vacation exchange network Thermas Hot World in Águas de Lindóia, Brazil. The property is approximately 75 miles north of São Paulo and currently features 36 chalets within a popular water park that attracts 250,000 visitors annually. Águas de Lindóia is part of a regional hot springs circuit that is known for its healing mineral waters and receives millions of visitors per year.
“Our resort’s mixed-use structure, which includes lodging and a waterpark, is an ideal foundation from which to launch a shared ownership program,” said Aparecido de Moraes, resort developer. “We are confident that our relationship with Interval will be most beneficial as we increase our presence in this sector.”
The one-bedroom wood-paneled chalets overlook the recreation area that has several heated swimming pools, including the spectacular 528,000-gallon wave pool, with lazy rivers, fountains, and water slides, as well as a children’s pool. Other onsite amenities are a restaurant and horseback riding.
“Aparecido and his team have invested time and capital in upgrading the waterpark and chalets to provide guests with an exceptional year-round vacation experience,” said Marcos Agostini, Interval’s executive vice president of global sales and business development. “We are delighted to add this unique property to our exchange network.”
Plans call for Thermas Hot World to be expanded with 300 one- and two-bedroom fractional units that will be located on the opposite side of the water park from the existing chalets. They will have full kitchens, spacious living rooms, and balconies with views of the water park and the landscaped gardens. Additional onsite amenities will be two restaurants, a sports bar, and game room.
