Michael Brown Announces Sports Illustrated Resorts Coming to Nashville

In a recent LinkedIn post, Michael D. Brown, President & CEO of Travel + Leisure Co., announced a major development: Sports Illustrated Resorts is coming to Nashville. As part of a growing collaboration between Travel + Leisure Co. and Authentic Brands Group, the new destination aims to blend sports culture, lifestyle, and immersive travel into a signature resort experience.

Brown emphasized that this move will be “authentically Nashville,” integrating the city’s world-renowned music and hospitality culture with the energy of the Sports Illustrated brand. The post also teases a broader expansion strategy, with more resort locations to be announced in the future.

Sharon Scott Wilson, RRP, publisher of Resort Trades Media Group, offered a personal note: “We’re especially excited to see this coming to Nashville—just a two-hour drive from our offices in Crossville, Tennessee. Michael Brown continues to be a driving force in bringing fresh, visionary concepts to vacation ownership and resort travel. We’ll be watching this project closely and cheering it on from nearby.”
