ARDA Leadership & Policy Forum
The second day of the ARDA (American Resort Development Association) Leadership & Policy Forum proved to be an exceptional success, marked by robust networking opportunities, insightful discussions, and impactful sessions.
The day began with the Legislative Luncheon, where attendees engaged in vibrant conversations, connecting with peers and industry leaders. A key highlight of the luncheon was an address by Chairman Patrick McHenry, Chair of the House Financial Services Committee, who spoke on the current Lame Duck session and outlined future legislative directions.
The afternoon transitioned into the General Session: ARDA State of the Industry, featuring President and CEO of ARDA, Jason Gamel, and ARDA Chair Gordon Gurnik, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Hilton Grand Vacations. Together, they presented significant initiatives and strategic visions for 2024 and 2025. The session also included expert analyses from ARDA’s Federal and State Legislative Teams, who provided attendees with valuable perspectives on the recent election and its potential policy impacts.
Adding further depth to the day’s programming, Ron Insana, renowned finance reporter, author, and CNBC senior analyst, took center stage for an engaging session that resonated with the audience.
The day concluded with an All-Attendee Closing Reception, fostering additional networking in a relaxed setting and celebrating the success of the forum’s second day.
ARDA extends its sincere appreciation to all participants and sponsors, including ARDA-ROC, Concord Servicing, Fidelity National Financial Timeshare, and RCI, for their vital contributions to making the event a resounding success.
