The highly celebrated and newly opened Grand Hyatt Baha Mar announces the appointment of Scott Allen as general manager.Widely known and respected within the Hyatt family, Allen brings 28 years of experience and leadership to the artistically designed 1,800-room resort on Nassau’s admired Cable Beach. Allen manages an esteemed team of associates and oversees more than 20 food and beverage outlets as well as Grand Hyatt’s signature Grand Club and the Baha Mar Convention Center, one of the largest meeting and convention spaces in the Caribbean, with 200,000 square feet of flexible, indoor and outdoor meeting space.

Most recently, Allen was general manager at Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort in Maui, Hawaii. During his tenure, Andaz Maui was voted the “#1 Top Resort in Hawaii” in Conde Nast Traveler’s 2016 Readers’ Choice Awards.
