Canadian Resort and Travel Association (CRTA), the industry-based trade association dedicated to furthering Vacation Ownership in Canada and throughout the world, has announced Georgi Bohrod Gordon has joined its new board of directors. Georgi Gordon (GBG & Associates), a long-time supporter and media consultant for the CRTA, adds diverse and specialized industry knowledge and skills to the board. Other new members Michelle DuChamp (Vacatia), Alex Glover (Vacation Innovations), David McDonald (RCI), and Gordon McClendon (SPI) were also named to new positions at the CRTA Board Meeting on July 22, 2022.
These thought leaders from the timeshare and hospitality industry join existing Board Members Derek Beaudoin (Canadian ICR), Paul Mattimoe (Intuition Brand Marketing), Gord Minor (Wyndham Destinations), Jeremy Moser (LaTour Hotels & Resorts), Gerardo Rioseco (Posadas) and Warren Smith (Living Water Resorts) to form a board of experts with a diverse spectrum of knowledge.

Founder and Principal of GBG & Associates, an award-winning branding, communications, marketing, and public relations firm, Georgi is renowned and respected for her work within the resort and hospitality industry. Her firm builds unique strategic multi-platform plans for clients that incorporate design, marketing, and communications. Georgi has created a wealth of tactical branding, marketing advertising, and public relations plans for hotels, timeshare resorts, second home properties, resort developers, private residence clubs, and travel industry corporations.
She is a strong advocate of the timeshare industry. Her role in changing the public perception of the timeshare industry is widely acknowledged. She is always looking for new industries with a potential connection to the hospitality industry and has expanded GBG’s portfolio to include the cannabis travel industry and professional services companies. Georgi was a founder and member of the board of directors of WIN (Women in the Industry), now known as ARDA WIN, and is a designated RRP (Registered Resort Professional).
