Diamond Resorts Members Visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Discover Big Island

Diamond Resorts International®, a global leader in the hospitality and vacation ownership industries, recently provided members a chance to discover several natural Hawaiian wonders while learning about the Big Island’s history during a recent Events of a Lifetime® vacation experience.

The all-day experience started in the Kona District, where members visited a coffee farm that helped give Kona Coffee its name. They then traveled to one of the island’s famed black sand beaches before heading to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to witness the active Kīlauea and Mauna Loa volcanoes.

Members saw the Halema‘uma‘u Crater from three different angles and stopped at several steam vents, created from groundwater seeping down to the hot volcanic rocks. The exciting day concluded with dinner at the Volcano House Restaurant and views of the crater’s glow at sunset.
