Diamond Resorts International®, a global leader in the hospitality and vacation ownership industries, was a sponsor of the three-day Patriotic Festival last weekend to honor members of the U.S. military. Thousands of country music fans, including hundreds of Diamond Resorts International® members, owners and guests, packed the sandy shores of Virginia Beach.
Highlights of this year’s event included performances by country music stars Jake Owen, Old Dominion and Darius Rucker, and an expo showcasing the mission, equipment and history of the armed forces.

Virginia Beach is a natural fit for the festival with one of the highest concentration of military personnel in the country. Festivalgoers got a glimpse at some of the work the military does there, with tours of the Air Force Performance Lab and a show by the Marine Corps’ Silent Drill Team. They also had a chance to witness a group of wounded warriors parachute down into the crowd from a plane.
