Members of leading vacation ownership club, Club Wyndham South Pacific, now can use their timeshare to take a road trip adventure through a partnership with motorhome company Britz.
Close to 60,000 Club Wyndham South Pacific members can already access 52 beautiful resorts in 10 countries – one of the Asia Pacific’s largest timeshare portfolios – and Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific, as club developer, provides even greater flexibility through a suite of timeshare exchange options.
“We have spent many years adapting and advancing our timeshare product to meet the needs of the modern traveller,” said Barry Robinson, President and Managing Director, International Operations, Wyndham Destinations.
“Today’s travellers are looking for flexibility. Our members can already use their timeshare at a broad range of club options and we provide numerous ways they can use their timeshare outside the club, through additional resorts, global exchanges, other clubs, cruises, motorhomes, or curated travel packages. Our timeshare is constantly undergoing improvement.
“With overseas holidays continuing to remain expensive, we anticipate motorhome hire will prove to be popular with our Australian and New Zealand members as they become reacquainted with destinations closer to home.”
Benefits are provided through the Lifestyle by Wyndham program, which allows Lifestyle members to exchange their timeshare credits for: stays at more than 4,200 resorts through the world’s leading timeshare exchange provider, RCI; Wyndham Rewards points that can be used for stays at more than 50,000 hotel, vacation ownership and vacation rental properties; cruises; curated travel packages; motorhomes; and, on occasions, travel products like tours, insurance and car hire.
Through this benefit, members will have access to Britz’s two-berth Venturer, which can sleep two adults and includes an LCD TV, DVD player, gas stove, fridge, and toilet and shower facilities, and the six-berth Frontier, which has sleeping room for six adults, a kitchenette with oven, four hotplates (three gas, one electric), microwave and fridge, along with LCD TV, DVD player, and toilet and shower facilities.
Motorhomes can be picked up and returned to 13 locations across Australia and New Zealand, subject to availability, including: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart, Darwin, Cairns, Broome, Alice Springs, Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown.
“We are pleased to be working with Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific and our team is excited to provide timeshare owners with a different but equally memorable experience,” said Jason Richmond, Head of ANZ Sales and Business Development, Tourism Holdings Limited.
Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific develops, markets and sells vacation ownership interests in Club Wyndham South Pacific. It is the largest timeshare development operation outside North America and part of the world’s leading vacation ownership company, Wyndham Destinations, which is a business line of Travel + Leisure Co. (NYSE:TNL).
