VANCOUVER, CANADA (September 18, 2018) –The Canadian Vacation Ownership Association (CVOA) has announced the topics for VO-Con 2018, the association’s annual vacation ownership conference which will be held September 25-27 at the Westin Trillium House Resort in Blue Mountain, Ontario, Canada.
Speaker panels on topics ranging from Getting the Deal Done to new developments in the Vacation Ownership secondary markets will be structured to allow for interactive discussions from the floor.
Of particular interest to attendees will be a forthright discussion called “Taking a Stand: Advocacy and Government Relations” featuring CVOA President and CEO Jon Zwickel and Susie Grynol, President of the HAC (Hotel Association of Canada). In June, the two organizations announced their alliance to work together as a united force on complimentary objectives.
The panelist will take on hot topics such as labour shortages, industry ethics and even Airbnb. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to learn first-hand how their expertise can resolve challenges and create opportunities for the vacation industry.
The VO-Con mission “To Explore the Business of Vacations” is structured to provide opportunities for networking, collaboration and open sharing of information.
There are still a few spots left at the event, which is designed by nature to be small and intimate allowing for networking and building professional relationships.
