Averett Warmus Durkee, P.A. (AWD), a $15 million certified public accounting firm, announced they have combined their practice with a top-30 accounting firm, WithumSmith+Brown. The two companies will adopt WithumSmith+Brown’s name and Withum’s current Orlando, Florida, office will relocate to AWD’s Orlando headquarters. Withum currently has 12 offices, 550 staff members and annual revenue of $115 million, ranking them in the top 30 firms in the country.
“We are very proud of what Averett Warmus Durkee accomplished. We look forward to continuing to provide our clients with exceptional service and our staff expanded opportunities as we join the Withum team,” stated Tom Durkee, a founding partner of AWD and a leader within its timeshare division.
Together, Durkee and another AWD partner, Lena Combs, have created an active timeshare division with clients located throughout the East Coast. “We’re looking forward to having Withum’s additional resources available to assist us in growing our business in the timeshare industry segment,” says Combs.
