Aspen National Collections: 20 Years as Resort Industry’s Best-respected Agency

Aspen National Collections Executive VP Buzz Waloch recently announced the company is celebrating its 20th year assisting resort companies involved in the timeshare/shared ownership industry. “Aspen President John Brewer, Mike Seuell (since retired), and I founded the company in March 2000 after having worked with another agency,” says Waloch. “We knew we could offer resort developers and HOA management entities better service by training and incentivizing collection agents to resell the vacation ownership concept. So, while other agencies might try to strong-arm timeshare owners, in many cases mistreating them, our associates take a more consultative approach to help them work out fair and viable solutions.”

Shortly after the company’s inception, Ray Genrich (collection manager) and VP David Combs joined the company to assist Waloch in sales and building client relationship. “During the last twenty years it’s been our pleasure to serve resorts throughout the country,” says Waloch. “We rarely tout our accomplishments, but I believe we are most likely the best-respected agency in the country doing business in this sector. It goes down to loyalty to our clients and respect for their customers.”
