Architectural Concepts Selected as Interior Design Firm for New Marriott Development San Jose, CA
Architectural Concepts, Inc. (ACI), a San Diego firm regarded as one of the Southwest’s top boutique architectural and interior design firms, announces its first project in conjunction with its new affiliate partner, Architectural Dimensions. James Heilbronner, President of Oakland-based Architectural Dimensions, recently joined the ACI team as Principal and Director of Hospitality.
Since opening its doors in 1992, ACI has focused on hospitality, restaurant, and commercial markets. Located in San Diego, the boutique firm provides Architectural Design, Site and Building Planning, and Interior Design services for a variety of project types. The joint venture partnership with James Heilbronner, who became Principal and Director of Hospitality at ACI in June 2019 boosts both entities’ capacity in numerous areas.
The joint venture project, a nine-story hotel in San Jose, CA. designed by Architectural Dimensions, will be dual-branded as Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott. The project, with 303 rooms and 19 upper floor condominiums is slated to break ground in Q2 2020. The residential units will be located on the top floor of the hotel. Situated on the corner of West Julian Street and Stockton Avenue, the new project is near downtown San Jose’s Diridon train station and the future Google transit village.
