Sena Hospitality Design helps renovate at Grand Seas Resort

Sena Hospitality Design Inc., a licensed interior design firm specializing in resorts, has installed a complete renovation of 16 courtside units at Grand Seas Resort by Exploria Resorts in Daytona Beach, Florida. In addition, the Orlando-based firm is now installing a similar renovation of 72 units in the resort’s North Tower, bringing the entire building back online following extensive damage from 2017’s Hurricane Irma. The refurbishments feature a coastal, clean, and modern look with hues of sea glass green and sea blue. SHD is managing the design, purchasing and installation for this project.

“We’re so excited to see our vision come to life,” says Dawn Sena, the firm’s founder, and president. “Owners and guests are already saying they’re wowed by the changes, which just enhances what was already fabulous property.”

Grand Seas Resort overlooks 812 feet of the “World’s Most Famous Beach” and is just short drive to the Daytona Speedway and only an hour to Orlando theme parks. It offers guests two outdoor pools and an indoor heated swimming pool as well as a kiddie pool and playground, miniature golf, and a fitness center. The 176 oceanside units include studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units.

Recently, SHD received the TopID award from the Sunshine (Central Florida) chapter of the NEWH, which recognizes and promotes the best in interior design, as well as being selected as a finalist for several resort design awards in the American Resort Development Association’s ARDY awards, winning an ARDY Gold award in the Refurbishment of a Common Area – HOA category for the lobby at Grand Seas Resort.
