Grand Pacific Resorts, a timeshare management company, hosts a family impacted by cancer in partnership with Send Me On Vacation, and launches new vacation donation program for owners.
Grand Pacific Resorts has a longstanding relationship with Send Me On Vacation, an organization that provides much-needed vacations to financially disadvantaged breast cancer survivors to rejuvenate with their family. The management company generously hosts families selected by Send Me On Vacation at their resorts twice a year, sponsoring accommodations and engaging associates and local partners to help provide an exceptional vacation experience.
Chandra Goodman shared her journey of perseverance with breast cancer and received a weeklong vacation at Grand Pacific Palisades Resort and Hotel in Carlsbad, CA in October. Along with hosting Chandra and her family, the management company gathered the support of local vacation ownership partners with ARDA-WIN who collectively donated a $300 spa gift certificate, and associates at the resort and the Home Office donated food, gift cards and Legoland tickets to help make their vacation stress-free and memorable.
“The experience has been amazing for me and my family,” said Chandra Goodman, cancer survivor selected by Send Me On Vacation. “Thank you for treating us like royalty! The stay at Grand Pacific Palisades and the generosity we’ve encountered from Send Me On Vacation and staff at the resort has been incredible. We’re so grateful for our getaway and cherish the memories we’ve made. Thank you to everyone who helped make our vacation so incredible.”
Elevating its support of Send Me On Vacation, Grand Pacific Resorts launched a vacation donation program, Revive & Thrive, on the internal exchange network, Grand Pacific Exchange (GPX), turning the website pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. The exciting new program gives timeshare owners the opportunity to use vacation ownership to transform the life of a family in need by donating a week.
Thanks to the partnership with Send Me On Vacation, contributions from local partners, and the passion of their associates to help coordinate the exceptional experience for cancer survivors and their families, Grand Pacific Resorts is dedicated to helping change lives of breast cancer survivors one vacation at a time.
