RiverWalk Resort At Loon Mountain Opens Doors To Guests And Owners

RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain welcomed guests and owners for the first time, on Friday, June 17th. With a backdrop of New Hampshire’s White Mountains, Loon Mountain’s South Peak, and the Pemigewasset River, every suite boasts sensational views. The resort features unique and grand amenities that include a state of the art game room, fitness center, a luxury owner’s club and an indoor/outdoor pool with the only technology utilized in the United States that will transform the pool into an ice skating rink during the winter months. The pool is slated to open in late August. Additionally, the resort boasts an on-site restaurant, La Vista Italian Cuisine as well as a commercial winery, Seven Birches Winery.

La Vista features fine Italian cuisine and wood fired pizza, focusing on the fresh ingredients used in all of their dishes. The restauranteur and chef, Herman Pfeuti comments that “all of our restaurant’s breads, pizza crust and desserts will be made in-house daily, bringing a personal touch to our cuisine. It’s all about the ingredients and special skill of our team of chefs that will make our restaurant successful.” La Vista will feature wines from around the world and those just down the hall, from Seven Birches Winery, also located within RiverWalk.

Seven Birches Winery is a first-of-its-kind commercial winery located within RiverWalk. Seven Birches will offer wine tastings and winery tours of their NH made wine. “We are handcrafting wines from classic European grape varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling and from fruits we source locally, like blueberries and apples,” according to Mark LaClair, the winery’s owner and winemaker. “The wine tasting experience at RiverWalk is certainly unique, and we are excited that guests are now checking in.” The tasting room is open daily and “Meet the Winemaker” tours are also available for those with a deeper interest in how locally, hand-crafted wine is produced.

In addition to the on-site restaurant and winery, the resort will also include a day spa, planned to open at a later date. Solstice North Day Spa will offer services to guests and owners that will include customized massages, specialized treatment for acne vulgaris, skincare, nail care and waxing.
Following this past weeks opening, RiverWalk Resort’s grand opening will take place on Friday, June 24th. The private grand opening event will include dignitary speakers touching on the influence this grand resort will have on New Hampshire’s travel and tourism industry as well as the local economy. Prior to the closed event, at 4pm on Friday, June 24, 2016, RiverWalk will host a media conference, giving an opportunity for questions and remarks from developer, Dennis Ducharme. “All of us at RiverWalk Resort are delighted to have our first overnight guests enter and experience this amazing destination resort hotel. The building is nearing completion, and we are looking forward to sharing extraordinary experiences with our guests,” adds Deb Lombardi, the resort General Manager.
