The daeXperiences program, which commenced in 2014 with a single event in Taupo, New Zealand, has now expanded to five annual events, ranging from golf, sporting and fishing events, to gourmet food and wine travel across Australia and New Zealand.

“Since the introduction of our inaugural DAE Taupo Golf Classic in Lake Taupo in May 2014, we’ve been responding to member demand and rolling out more unique, themed weeks for DAE members,” said Mr Fog.
Now in its third year, the daeXperiences program has been generating positive outcomes for both timeshare resorts and members, who are more engaged and seeing more tangible benefits with their holiday ownership.
“For members who love golf or fishing, for example, they get to enjoy a whole week of their favourite pastime, while their loved ones can enjoy a fantastic holiday and experience everything else the region has to offer,” he said.
It’s a formula that works, with the majority of 2016 event weeks already sold out and forward bookings for 2017 events already strong, including a connoisseur’s experience in the heart of the Margaret River region of Western Australia.
“Attracting members to an area to participate in an organised, themed week based around an activity they are interested in has meant more exposure for our regional resorts, as well as helping to engage their owners in new and exciting ways.
“The development of daeXperiences is another of the innovative ways DAE is helping to increase member engagement and satisfaction, and provide direct benefits to resorts in our exchange network,” said Mr Fog.
